Gem hunting, at Salon de minéralogie et bijouterie de Paris - Spring 2013

Going to this Salon for me is like going to Disneyland. I have been impatiently waiting for it since the last time it was organized in November 2012. My mission was, find two pink gemstones for a pair of earrings someone has ordered. First surprise, the entry ticket was more expensive than last time. Considering the event was hosted in a building just next to the Eiffel tower that seems understandable. Annoying but understandable… Anyway in there you can find everything you want, all kinds of gemstones, beautifully cut ones of different qualities, interesting fossils, big gem rocks and many jewelry designers. After spending many hours and all my money, I still didn’t find the pink gems I was looking for, but my eyes were definitely satisfied from all that beauty. The discovery this time was a very talented jewelry designer with a great personality. Hello everyone I have been in such a spring mood lately. Maybe is the temperature rising a little bit,or maybe the few days of sun we had. In anycase I cant wait to throw away my coat and boots and prepare for light jackets and long earrings. Earrings like these ones. My last creation are the Long charming coral earrings. A magic place in Paris, Shakespeare and Company

There is a place in Paris where you just need to step inside and feel transported far from the noisy city, far from the traffic and the stress, even though this magic place is exactly in the middle of them. I am talking about Shakespeare and Company book store. It is indeed my favorite shop ever. What I like the most about it, is that it feels like home for everyone. Everyone can go inside, stay as long as he wishes, and sit to read on the old cracky chairs or even take a nap in the little bed. In Shakespeare and Company everyone is welcomed with a smiley “Hello” because as it is written on its walls: “Be not inhospitable to strangers lest they be angels in disguise”. On this 7 Mars, a special day for teachers in Albania, I am thankful to that first grade teacher that taught me how to read and opened the great magic world of books for me.
